These compilations are commonly called nikuhitu gajo. This album consists of ten works: Amur adonis and Folding fan, Hawk, Shears and Sparrow, Vessel and Pear flower, Snake and Small bird, Little cuckoo and Rainbow, Flatfish and Pink, Frog and Creeping saxifrage, Sweetfish, Salted salmon and Mice. The last piece is believed to be from 1836, soon after Hokusai adopted Manji as his new art name.
